Counter-Strike 2 has replaced CS:GO as one of the best free games that PC has to offer. Valve's newest addition into the Counter-Strike franchise is free-to-play, very similar to its predecessor, and continues to be topping the Steam most played charts at any time since its late 2023 launch.
